Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Buildings and Grounds Team Manager as a member of the Estates Management team to provide strategic management of the Teams to ensure both reactive and PPM works meet all Statutory Compliance requirements, including the management of Building Team as well as third party contractors. The Buildings Manager will ensure performance in meeting all SLAs & KPIs across residential and academic buildings within the University Estate, working on both commercial and domestic buildings plus the grounds. The Buildings and Grounds Teams play a proactive role within a motivated and innovative wider Estates team, delivering key objectives to meet directorate and University-wide requirements. Overall Purpose of the post of Buildings and Grounds Team Manager:
Leadership and operational management of the Buildings Team in ensuring both reactive and PPM works meet all Statutory Compliance requirements, including the management of team performance in meeting all Service Levels.
Working collaboratively with the University's and other Estates Maintenance services to ensure statutory compliance, best value, excellent customer service and in supporting the Oxford Campus Vision in developing an Oxford campus that responds to the evolving needs of our people and the rapidly changing world of education.
Qualifications and Experience for the post of Buildings Manager:

You could be exactly what we need. Qualifications: You are likely to have a recognised apprenticeship in a building services maintenance discipline. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 although you may be equally qualified by significant experience.
Experience required for post: Significant operational experience in a building services maintenance environment.
Working hours for the post of Buildings Manager:
The post of Buildings Manager is a full time post which is 37 hours, typically Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, but Oxford Brookes is supportive of flexible working, part time working and job sharing.
