We are seeking a passionate Additional Support Needs (ASN) Coordinator to join our Lanarkshire Children's care team who will share our values and be dedicated to young people and their families. As a part of the role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various care plans, that training needs of staff are appropriate to meet the needs of young people. you will work directly alongside children who have complex care needs and their staff. You will make shift observations and implement improvements for autistic young people. The ideal candidate will have a varied but strong experience with ASN and complex needs. They will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead and coordinate tasks effectively. More importantly, they will be passionate about improving the lives of young people. Responsibilities Develop and implement care plans for individuals with additional support needs and complex care Understand the finer complexities of Autism through educational Qualifications Coordinate and communicate with team members to ensure staff have the necessary skills to manage PBS Work directly with our quality team to ensure improvements Happy to work across Teams depending on the needs of young people and carry out shift work. Work alongside young people with ASN to carry out observations on staff and the needs of young people.
