Overview
Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor or CILEX Litigator role based in Hertfordshire / M25 borders. Flexible with start and finish times; full-time or part-time hours available. Base salary between £70,000 p.a. to £80,000 p.a. plus generous bonus package.
Friendly and progressive law firm looking to hire to expand the civil litigation department; much of the work is internally generated, with scope to grow the client base through your networking and business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting for private individuals and businesses
* Dealing with cases from start to finish, striving for favourable outcomes for clients
* Issuing court proceedings
* Dealing with General Civil Litigation, Residential & Commercial Landlord & Tenant cases, and dilapidations
* Mediation and dispute resolution
Qualifications and Experience
* Around 15 years PQE in Civil & Property Litigation
* Experience dealing with proceedings in all courts
* Ideally experience in residential and commercial landlord and tenant work and dilapidations (not essential)
* Excellent knowledge of CPR and able to demonstrate it in interview
* Ability to work under pressure, be organised and proactive, and able to delegate and work in a team
* High levels of client satisfaction and ability to keep clients informed of progress
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and experience in mediation and dispute resolution
