Our client, a prominent educational group specialising in energy and training, is looking for a Electrical Installation Trainer at their Slough trianing centre on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role will involve managing and mentoring apprentices to excel in their end point assessments, making a substantial difference in their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality training sessions in electrical installation to apprentices
Managing and mentoring a dynamic caseload of apprentices
Preparing apprentices for their end point assessments
Utilising various teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Engaging with employers to ensure successful apprentice placements
Monitoring and assessing apprentice progress regularly
Providing constructive feedback and support to apprentices
Keeping accurate records and documentation as required
Job Requirements:
Experience in teaching in a classroom environment
A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (City & Guilds 8202, 2365, 2330 or 2360)
18th Edition & AM2 / AM2S certification
A1/CAVA certificate
Strong communication and mentoring skills
Ability to manage and mentor apprentices effectively
Passion for technical environments and apprentice development
