Were seeking a Civil Engineer with a focus on water and wastewater treatment systems. This position will be responsible for designing and modeling sewage and water distribution systems, with an emphasis on hydraulic modeling, pump stations, valves, and treatment processes. If you're a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong foundation in environmental or civil engineering, this is an opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects that serve local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and analyze water and wastewater treatment systems, including piping networks, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
* Perform hydraulic modeling to assess system performance and support decision-making for new and existing infrastructure.
* Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental and municipal projects.
* Conduct site visits and support construction oversight for active water/wastewater projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
* Experience in the design and analysis of treatment systems, sewage infrastructure, and hydraulic components such as pumps and valves.
* Proficiency with industry-standard modeling and design tools (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar).
* Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting related to water/wastewater systems.
* Strong technical writing and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within scope and deadline.
