Class 2 HIAB Driver - Builders Merchant
Location: Ashford
Pay: £16.50 per hour
Contract: Ongoing agency work / Temp to perm
We're currently recruiting on behalf of a leading national builders' merchant for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for steady work and daytime hours.
The Role:
* Delivering building materials to trade and residential sites using a HIAB-equipped vehicle
* Safely loading and unloading goods using the lorry-mounted crane
* Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed on time
* Providing friendly, professional customer service at every drop
* Working Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays may be available)
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* HIAB (Lorry Loader) certificate - essential
* Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous experience delivering for a builders' merchant preferred but not essential
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-driven attitude
