We are currently recruiting for a Senior Family Worker to join our Disabled Children’s Team.
We aim to empower families to be the best they can be. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our team, improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
We seek an exceptional, enthusiastic, and organized individual to work alongside Social Workers and multi-agency colleagues to provide children and their families with the help and support they need to make positive, sustained changes.
You will build long-term relationships with children and their families, hold reviews of the child’s care plan, and be responsible for coordinating and delivering respite, support, and other services as outlined in the care plan following a social worker’s assessment. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of the support package and recommend re-assessment if needed.
Experience of direct work with children, young people, and their families is essential, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Emotional resilience and the ability to handle difficult conversations are also crucial.
We will support you to develop and deliver high-quality services, working closely with professionals from various agencies to improve outcomes.
