Tradewind Recruitment is working with specialist SEN schools in Northamptonshire to recruit a passionate and skilled SEN Maths Teacher who can engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
The school supports pupils aged 11 to 18 who have a range of learning difficulties and additional needs such as autism, speech and language delay, SEMH, and ADHD. Maths is taught in small groups using a creative, real-world approach to help students build confidence and practical numeracy skills.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Deliver inspiring and differentiated Maths lessons (KS3-KS4)
2. Develop creative, multi-sensory resources to engage SEN learners
3. Track student progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
4. Build trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What We're Looking For:
5. QTS/QTLS with Maths specialism (or relevant experience)
6. SEN teaching experience or strong understanding of additional needs
7. Ability to engage reluctant learners through patience and positivity
8. Commitment to promoting achievement for all
