Job Description:
As our human resources business partner, you will report to the Head of HR Operations and partner with the Regional Managers and senior management team. This role encompasses a mix of strategic and operational HR activities, including organizational design, cultural change projects, and managing escalated Employee Relations such as grievance/absence, using data to analyze trends. You will lead an HR team to support the people strategy, focusing on adding value, building capability and performance, and enhancing employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing relationships with Trade Unions, overseeing HR service delivery, developing HR projects, and coaching line managers to improve people management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the HR people plan reflecting talent development, engagement, and organizational development interventions.
2. Monitor key performance metrics, identify trends, and take actions to improve performance.
3. Develop relationships and work closely with Trade Unions.
4. Oversee HR service delivery and enhance efficiency.
5. Work with the management team to improve contract/business unit performance.
6. Ensure the application of GEOAmey policies and practices.
7. Coach line managers to improve performance and people management.
8. Build feedback into proactive planning and ensure employee voice is heard.
Requirements:
* Blended experience as an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner.
* Experience working with Trade Unions and managing complex Employee/Industrial relations cases.
* Ability to deliver change and transformation projects with successful outcomes.
* Proficiency in applying legal knowledge practically and using data for insights.
* CIPD Level 5, ideally Level 7.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven individual with multi-tasking experience.
* Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Flexible team player with ownership mindset and proactive planning abilities.
