Our client, a highly regarded Managing Agent, is looking for an experienced Block Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of a varied workload in a supportive environment.
Your role as their new Block Manager, will be to take on responsibility for the delivery of day to day property management services across an assigned portfolio spanning across London, Hertfordshire and Essex. You'll act as a key point of contact for residents, clients and contractors, ensuring all operational, financial and legal responsibilities are met in line with best practice and company standards.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to, taking ownership of:
Carrying out site inspections, actioning any findings as required
Setting and managing Service Charge budgets
Instructing contractors and overseeing works
Management of the S20 consultation process
Chairing AGMs, EGM and Directors' meetings
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations
Ensuring the correct insurance is in place and handling any claims
