Job Title: Class 2 Skip Driver
Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a Class 2 Skip Driver to join our team.
Location: Mepal
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, between 6am – 6pm, with occasional Saturday work, averaging 50 hours per week.
Pay: On target earnings circa £46,000 per annum plus performance-related bonuses.

Role Overview
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Class 2 Skip Drivers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our successful team. Candidates must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph Card, and Drivers Qualification Card.
Main Responsibilities
1. Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift vehicle checks, including walk-around inspections, and report any defects.
2. Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and comply with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
3. Ensure loads are secure, within weight limits, and follow site-specific rules.
4. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, deliver excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically. Demonstrate good geographical knowledge.
5. Complete any ad hoc requests as required.
