Do you thrive on coaching and mentoring others to improve their teaching practices? We are looking for a dedicated Advanced Teaching and Learning Practitioner to join our team, supporting the professional growth of teaching staff across diverse subject areas.
This role is a part-time 0.5 FTE
Key Responsibilities
* Coaching teaching staff to develop outstanding teaching practices.
* Conducting learning walks, observations, and drop-ins to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA).
* Designing and delivering tailored training sessions and CPD activities.
* Supporting the use of digital tools and innovative techniques to improve teaching.
* Working closely with curriculum managers to set ambitious improvement targets.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven track record in effective teaching within an FE/HE setting.
* Strong understanding of current and blended pedagogical practices.
* Experience mentoring or coaching educators with demonstrable results.
* Excellent digital skills, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Teams and Canvas.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
