New Directions Liverpool is seeking a dedicated Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant for a ‘Good’ rated SEND school located in Skelmersdale. This role is stating in September and requires a compassionate and skilled individual to support children with Autism (ASD) and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD). The successful candidate will work closely with students to create a positive, nurturing environment, helping them navigate their unique challenges and reach their full potential. Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:

2. Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
3. Be encouraging and supportive.
4. Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children’s development.
5. Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.

Job Specification
6. Have experience working with children, or adults, with additional needs
7. Hold a L2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
8. Able to support children of all abilities.
9. Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning.
