I am currently working with a bid consultancy that is looking to expand its team following a period of strong growth. They are seeking a Bid Manager to work in a hybrid capacity from their office in Leeds (2 days in the office). The salary ranges from £35,000 to £50,000, depending on experience and seniority.
This role is suitable for a bid professional confident in managing the entire bid process, as well as creating, editing, and reviewing content. Experience in engaging with customers and building relationships is also essential. The client is open to candidates from any sector, whether in-house or consultancy, and prefers someone with a relevant degree (such as History, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, etc.).
About the role
* Leading and managing bids for a diverse range of clients across various sectors
* Managing subject matter experts throughout the tender process to ensure compelling, high-scoring responses
* Utilising various tools to assist SMEs in producing their answers
* Writing, reviewing, and editing answers, and providing feedback and guidance
* Participating in customer meetings
* Managing portal activities
* Serving as a point of contact for customer queries, fostering close and trusted relationships
* Helping customers optimise their business development and bidding processes
* Using online procurement portals to identify and share tender opportunities for Impart and its clients
* Supporting customers in preparing for presentations, including facilitating meetings, developing slide content, and providing feedback on practice presentations
