Registered Manager – Residential Family Assessment Centre Location: Epsom, Surrey Salary: Up to £100,000 per year (depending on experience) Flexible Package: 5 days per week or compressed hours over 4 Applications Close: 5th December 2025 You’ll be leading a specialist Residential Family Assessment Centre supporting parents and babies during some of the most pressured chapters of their lives. This is a centre with substance. A clear therapeutic model rooted in attachment and trauma. A structured parenting assessment framework (ParentAssess). On-site clinical input from psychotherapists, parent–infant specialists and creative therapies. Spaces designed for purpose from sensory room, toddler development room, therapy rooms to a therapeutic outdoor garden. The role You’ll hold Ofsted registration and carry responsibility for the centre’s culture, safety, assessments and day-to-day running. You’ll make sure the emotional tone matches the regulatory detail; both matter, both shape the experience families have here. You will: Lead the service in line with Residential Family Centre Regulations 2002, NMS and SCCIF Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead with confident oversight of risk, escalation and learning Oversee parenting capacity assessments using a structured, evidence-informed framework Keep assessment and therapy separate but connected, so families experience clarity and support Guide your team through supervision, reflective work and performance conversations Maintain high-quality care plans, risk assessments, placement compatibility and transition planning Work closely with local authorities, courts, perinatal teams and mental health professionals Keep the centre inspection-ready through monitoring, governance and continuous improvement What you’ll bring You’re someone who understands the emotional depth of this work, but also the legal weight behind it. You know how to hold risk, how to hold people, and how to lead a team through both.
