Job Duties
:Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the guidance of the kitchen team, ensuring all dishes meet the quality standards.
:Help with tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and organising food stations to ensure a smooth cooking process.
:Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including cleaning work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
:Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labelling of ingredients to prevent contamination.
:Assist in dishwashing and cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes, ensuring all items are sanitised and ready for use.
:Provide general support to kitchen staff, including helping with inventory management, unpacking deliveries, and other tasks as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
:Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, though not essential.
:Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
:Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
:Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
