As a Diagnositics Technician you will assess, recommend and complete mechanical repairs to enhance the value of wholesale remarketing vehicles.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods. Mechanical jobs Cambelts, Clutches, Wheel alignment, General wear and tear MOT Failure work.
2. Work productively ensuring repairs are completed within the deadline and work prioritised to achieve maximum efficiency.
3. Highlight when repairs are not possible, or an alternative solution is required.
4. A high attention to detail and to escalate where repairs could be completed more cost effectively.
5. Maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within workspaces.
6. Ensure standard operating procedures are rigorously followed and documentation completed accurately.
7. Undertake other duties as requested by your manager.
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
8. Experienced Level 3 Mechanical Technician.
9. A broad understanding of cars, the ability to observe, diagnose and repair mechanical faults and vehicle servicing.
10. A clear team ethic being able to focus on immediate technical tasks as well as understanding work in all departments must been balanced to achieve the business’ overall goals.
