Your role
The Site Engineer II (SE) is responsible for infrastructure activities in Data Centres to ensure reliable and efficient technical operations. This includes maintenance, testing, surveillance of assets, troubleshooting, assembly, and scheduling of maintenance tasks. The role requires meeting SLAs, delivering client satisfaction, and participating in a 7x24 shift rotation if applicable.
What You’ll Do
1. Drive adherence to safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
3. Manage maintenance and repair operations, including coordination with subcontractors.
4. Perform on-call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
5. Document progress, issues, and results, and implement improvements.
6. Supervise Site Engineers I, including task assignment and performance evaluation.
7. Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance.
8. Assist in writing and reviewing operating procedures and planning critical maintenance or change requests.
What You’ll Need
* 2+ years of experience in mission-critical operations and maintenance of large electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems; technical certification in mission-critical operations.
* Proficiency in computer applications like Excel, Word, Outlook.
* Ability to work in shifts.
* Vocational education/training in a technical field or site engineering.
* Skills in maintaining electrotechnical and mechanical systems; familiarity with fire detection and suppression systems preferred.
* Basic knowledge of conveyor systems (elevators) and security systems (CCTV, access control).
* HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical experience.
* Customer-focused, proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on mentality.
* Stress resilience and good communication skills.
