Overview
The States of Guernsey are looking for a Support Worker to join the Autism Hub at Le Vieux Jardin. The Hub provides 24‑hour support to eight adults with Autism and/or profound and multiple learning disabilities, each living in their own purpose‑built bungalow.
Responsibilities
* Use the Active Support Model to promote choice, independence, and participation in daily living tasks such as personal care, medication management, cooking, cleaning, shopping, managing finances, and accessing the community.
* Work alongside colleagues and senior staff to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
* Act as a co‑key worker for allocated service users.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Committed, reliable, and passionate about supporting others to live meaningful and independent lives.
* Flexibility to work a 24‑hour shift system including nights and weekends.
* Full driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
