About the Role
We're seeking a talented CAD Designer to produce high-quality working and fabrication drawings for a variety of roofing and cladding systems. While experience in roofing is desirable, our primary focus is on your CAD proficiency and ability to interpret complex design requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Create project-specific CAD drawings and fabrication details.
* Review architectural, structural, and steelwork drawings to identify and resolve design queries.
* Attend design meetings (on-site and virtual) and collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers.
* Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
* Conduct site surveys and measurements when required.
* Support material scheduling and procurement processes.
Qualifications
* Experience in a CAD design role (construction or architectural sectors preferred).
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential; Revit or similar a plus).
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Roofing and cladding experience is a bonus but not essential.
