Overview:
The Host is the first point of contact for customers and plays a critical role in setting the tone for the in-store and virtual experience. This position is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment and supporting customer flow, service, and brand representation. The Host is pivotal in building a positive first impression, supporting store KPIs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in alignment with Axel Arigato's values.
Responsibilities:
The role needs to be focused on quality, always thinking of our consumer when reviewing samples for fit, comfort and quality in partnership with relevant teams and suppliers.
* Customer Welcome & Experience: Greet all customers with warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere as they enter the store.
* Customer Service Support: Be the point of contact for both in-store and virtual customers, answering queries about products, layout, and brand information.
* Queue & Flow Management: Monitor and manage customer traffic to ensure an efficient, enjoyable shopping experience.
* Brand Representation: Share product and brand knowledge with customers, promoting Axel Arigato's identity, ethos, and current collections.
* Team Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with the sales team to meet daily goals and deliver seamless service.
* Sales Support: Contribute to achieving store targets by engaging customers and encouraging positive purchase decisions.
Qualifications:
* Experience in a retail, hospitality, or similar customer-facing role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A natural people-person with a confident, calm and approachable attitude.
* Ability to manage customer expectations during peak periods.
* Passion for fashion and strong interest in the Axel Arigato brand.
* Proactive, dependable, and self-motivated.
* Comfortable working independently and in a team.
* Flexible and available to work up to 40 hours per week including weekends.
