City Rail Link Ltd is looking for a talented Project Engineer (Systems) to work on a significant city-shaping project that will elevate your career.
You will report directly to the Systems Director and serve as the key technical interface between the CRL Systems team, Link Alliance Design team, and future operators (Auckland Transport and Kiwirail). Your role will involve ensuring consistency across architectures and design teams.
This position is responsible for consolidating information from design change requests and advising the Systems and Delivery Directors on the commercial impact and benefits of these changes, while ensuring project goals are achieved.
Join our passionate team working on this major infrastructure project and you will:
1. Develop and own the system architecture within your scope.
2. Build strong relationships and a shared understanding with design teams and stakeholders.
3. Identify system interfaces and submit them to the interface management team.
4. Identify system artefacts (products, assets, sub-systems) ensuring alignment with the System Breakdown Structure.
Ideally, you will have:
1. A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
3. A proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
4. Working knowledge of railway systems, terminology, and interfaces.
