About the Role
These are rewarding and varied roles that involve supporting Year 7 students with SEND needs as they settle into their new environment.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Year 7 SEND students with the transition into secondary school
* Helping pupils manage routines, build confidence, and regulate emotions
* Providing in-class and out-of-class support to encourage positive behaviour and engagement
* Working closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs
* A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to behaviour management
* Confidence in building rapport and offering consistent, positive reinforcement
* A genuine interest in education and pupil well-being
