Job Description
1. Deploy, supervise, and control all resources within the multi-trade repairs team, providing repair services for housing and non-housing work to internal and external customers.
2. Provide information and recommendations to management on operational matters.
3. Work closely with colleagues and supervisors.
4. This role is primarily field-based, involving site planning, supervision, and organization of in-house employees and subcontractors across various trades.
5. Candidate requirements include completing a CITB City and Guilds Apprenticeship, a drive to achieve timely property completions, teamwork, motivation, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail, good rapport-building with teams, subcontractors, Clerk of Works, and administrative staff are essential.
7. Flexible working hours, including out-of-hours and weekends, may be required.
8. An Aberdeenshire Council van will be provided for work use.
9. The primary working area is the central south of Aberdeenshire.

Requirements
This position involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate must join or update their PVG Scheme membership. If the candidate has spent 3 or more months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
