Primary Teacher
Location: Skegness area
Daily Pay: £120 – £180 per day
Start date: 10th November for a year maternity cover

If you’re an experienced or recently qualified Primary Teacher looking for a 1 day a week teaching post, then look no further—this role could be the one for you!
GSL Education are looking for a passionate Primary Teacher to teach in a Year 2 class for one day a week as part of a year-long maternity cover. The school, situated on the outskirts of Skegness, is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and offers a supportive working environment.
What the role looks like:
* Work with a Year 2 class for one day a week for a year’s maternity cover
* Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum guidance
* Create a stimulating and exciting learning environment where all children thrive
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
* Plan lessons where required, due to the role being long-term cover
* PGCE in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
* Recent experience working within a primary school – KS1 experience desirable
* Knowledge of the national curriculum, principles, and practice
* Ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* A child workforce, enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through GSL Education
