Tenancy Support Worker
* Hourly Rate: £15.48 PAYE
* Location: Sheffield, S1 and S8
* Job Type: Interim, 37 hours per week
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Tenancy Support Worker to join a newly launched project aimed at supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and facing complex needs. This role is crucial in helping people transition into and sustain independent living by providing tailored, person-centred support.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver high-quality, personalised support to vulnerable individuals with diverse needs.
* Develop and maintain effective support plans in collaboration with service users.
* Promote independence and tenancy sustainment through practical and emotional support.
* Liaise with external agencies, housing providers, and community services to coordinate holistic support.
* Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet changing needs.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development through feedback and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Empathy and resilience, with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people.
* Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
* Strong communication skills, able to build trust and positive relationships with individuals and professionals.
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
* Experience in working within housing, homelessness, or support services is desirable but not essential.
