About the Role
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and inclusive secondary school? A thriving secondary school in Wembley is seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN TA to join their team as soon as possible.
* Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning materials and provide tailored support.
* Help to create an inclusive and positive learning environment where every student can achieve their potential.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions, supporting both academic progress and emotional well-being.
* Assist with behaviour management, encouraging positive choices and building student confidence.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with SEN students in a UK secondary school setting (essential).
* Strong understanding of strategies to support students with diverse needs.
* Ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff, and families.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
* An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
