A successful and inclusive 11–18 secondary school and sixth form in St Helens is seeking a confident, organised, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join its dedicated team. You will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff, working across a range of subjects and year groups. The school prides itself on its supportive culture, high expectations, and strong community values.
the successful applicant will be working in key stage 3/ KS3 and key stage 4/ KS4 Utilising their strong classroom presence and management to tackle the daily challenges in a classroom environment. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation; however, a strong initiative and good communication skills are a must.
The Successful Cover supervisor will have:
Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (preferred)
Be confident managing classroom routines and supporting student engagement
Be calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to promoting the school’s values and high standards
Be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
