The Role - KS1 Class Teacher As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning. You will be working within a structured and well-sequenced curriculum, designed to support high-quality teaching while allowing space for professional creativity.
You will join a collaborative Key Stage 1 team, contributing to shared planning, consistent practice, and a culture of continual improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers looking to develop within a high-performing setting.
Key Responsibilities - KS1 Class Teacher
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Create a purposeful, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
* Assess, monitor, and respond to pupil progress effectively
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
The Ideal Candidate - KS1 Class Teacher
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience or a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 1
* Demonstrates strong classroom practice and clear pedagogical understanding
* Is committed to high standards and raising attainment for all pupils
