The Role
You will be an experienced NMCregistered Nurse (Part 1), ideally with experience in childhood immunisations, an interest in Public Health, and a strong commitment to patient‑centred care. You’ll join a small, mixed‑skill team delivering immunisation services within the community, most of your work taking place in community‑based clinics.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
* Fulltime, Permanent
* Shift Pattern – Monday – Friday
* Post predominantly based in Northeast/East Dunbartonshire
* Cross‑boundary working across all 5 teams may be required at times
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver preschool immunisations to babies and young children.
* Occasionally, provide immunisations to children up to age 18.
* Work collaboratively within a small, multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain high standards of patient‑centred care in all interactions.
* Report, investigate, and learn from incidents (Datix) to reduce recurrence.
* Gather and report data on immunisation outcomes and service provision.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required
* Must be an NMCregistered Nurse (Part 1).
* Experience in immunising children is desirable; full training will be provided.
* An interest in Public Health is beneficial.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Leadership and problem‑solving skills.
* Awareness of national policy and legislation.
* Understanding of the NMC Code of Practice.
