I’m working with a food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire who is looking for a new Supply Chain Manager across 2 sites. It’s a great opportunity for you to make an influence on a huge company and manage a small team.
About the Role
Your role will be to oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels across all areas.
Responsibilities
* Leading Customer Service and administrative functions
* Partnering with the commercial team to understand and deliver against customer requirements
* Developing and aligning production plans to meet demand
* Managing third-party warehousing and distribution partners
* Overseeing transport and shipping operations
* Procuring third-party products to support business needs
* Maintaining accurate inventory control and stock management
* Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, and data accuracy
* Collaborating cross-functionally as part of the S&OP process
* Monitoring and improving overall service levels
Required Skills
* Managing teams - proven people management skill and team development
* Able to manage and prioritise workload
* Supply chain management experience within a food manufacturing environment
* Experience working with 3rd party logistics and warehousing suppliers
* Experience in ERP systems
* Experienced in inventory management and forecasting
