💼 The Role
As a Principal Delivery Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of high-profile healthcare transformation programmes. You’ll work across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes, build strong CxO-level relationships, and play a strategic role in account growth and programme assurance.
This role blends agile programme leadership, client strategy, and people development. You’ll bring a passion for digital health, a track record of leading teams in complex environments, and the vision to help clients navigate innovation, risk, and opportunity in a fast-evolving digital healthcare landscape.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
* Lead digital delivery across large-scale healthcare accounts — ensuring governance, alignment with strategic goals, and outcomes that truly serve end users.
* Own programme success — from planning through delivery, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring high client satisfaction and measurable impact.
* Drive account growth — partner with senior healthcare clients to shape new opportunities, proposals, and strategic direction.
* Champion innovation — embed modern delivery practices, lean governance, and creative use of technology across programmes.
* Support and grow people — mentor, coach, and inspire teams to be high-performing, values-driven, and outcome-focused.
✅ What You’ll Need
* 7+ years of programme or delivery leadership experience in public sector and/or healthcare environments.
* Strong track record delivering large, complex, agile-led transformation programmes (£multi-million).
* Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders (Director/CxO level), influence decisions, and shape delivery strategy.
* Experience in people leadership and team development within delivery organisations.
* A strategic mindset paired with the commercial acumen to manage P&L, forecasts, and delivery metrics.
* Expertise in agile delivery frameworks, governance, and risk management in multi-vendor settings.
