Administrator
Salary – £23,809.50 - £27,130 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 hours per week, 07:00am to 15:30pm
Location – Falkirk, FK2 8FL

As an Administrator at FCC Environment, you will provide essential administrative support to the Contract Manager and the wider team, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues, contractors, and external partners, helping us meet our contractual obligations to our clients.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week. Monday - Friday

What will you be doing?
•Answering calls and handling enquiries in a professional and timely manner
•Updating, maintaining, and filing contract spreadsheets and records
•Preparing daily work layouts for crews, including collection sheets and maps
•Processing payroll and invoices accurately and on time
•Ordering PPE and office supplies within budget
•Coordinating training schedules, including refresher courses and new requirements
•Managing absence and holiday records for staff
•Updating operational systems such as WHITESPACE, AWARELY, GLADIS, and ASSET GO
•Liaising with council waste officers, HR, and other internal teams
•Preparing meeting minutes and monthly/weekly reports

What are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who is:
•Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
•IT proficient, with strong skills in Word, Excel, databases, email, and internet use
•An excellent communicator, able to speak, write, and listen effectively
•Proactive, able to use their initiative to solve problems and suggest improvements
•Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to delivering work to high standards
•A team player, able to build and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally
•Able to follow clear instructions while also taking the lead when required
•Knowledge of the local area would be advantageous, but not essential
