We are looking for a Sales Personto join us at Huws Gray Kelvedon!
If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group and we’re made up of a number of brands, including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI and Anglia Tool Centre to name a few. We rely on our Sales Peopleto build great relationships with our customers and suppliers, all whilst looking to increase branch sales and profit. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Sales Personwith Huws Gray:
* Serving our customers whether that’s over the counter, on the phone or in the yard
* Providing quotes, following up on enquiries and developing sales leads
* Keeping up to date with any relevant paperwork and administration
* Making sure your product knowledge is up to date to be able to advise customers on the best products available
* Looking after the yard when requiredas well as product displays and shop areas, making sure they are fully stocked and appealing to our customers
This rolerequires some flexibility with duties at branch as you will be helping in other areas as and when needed(includingyard operative duties and covering the sales counter).For this reason, please be awarethat therewill be some outdoor and manual work within this role.
We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Sales Person. Previous experience in a similar industry, or a good knowledge of building materials would be a benefit for this role.
