What You Will Do
Chair statutory reviews for children in care, ensuring meetings are child-centred and inclusive.
Promote meaningful participation, ensuring that children’s voices, wishes, and feelings are central to all planning.
Monitor the progress of care plans, identifying and addressing any drift or delay.
Provide professional challenge and elevate concerns through formal dispute resolution processes when required.
Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld and risks are effectively identified and managed.
Build strong multi-agency relationships to support high-quality decision-making and service delivery.
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely review records, documenting decisions, recommendations, and next steps.
