Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Kingston upon Thames Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing About the Role: Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools across Kingston upon Thames. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them thrive both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to pupils with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties. Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning materials and ensure lessons are inclusive. Support emotional and behavioural development in a positive, encouraging manner. Promote independence, engagement, and confidence among pupils. Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environment. Requirements: Experience supporting children with SEN in school or similar settings. Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills. A calm, patient, and proactive approach to challenges.
