Scope of the Role
The Industrial Designer will increase delivery capacity by owning multiple client projects from early concept through CAD, prototyping, DFM, and manufacture.
* Lead physical product development from concept to production release
* Produce manufacturing-ready SolidWorks CAD, drawings, and assemblies
* Design mechanisms including snap-fits, clips, fasteners, and moving parts
* Run client design reviews and communicate technical trade-offs clearly
* Support prototyping, testing, iteration, and supplier handover
Key Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience as an Industrial Designer delivering physical products to manufacture
* Advanced SolidWorks capability covering assemblies, mechanisms, and production drawings
* Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding and DFM constraints
* Confident client-facing communicator running reviews and technical discussions
* Background in consultancy, product design engineering, or hands-on NPD environments
