The busy estate hosts many schools’ programmes and events, which help bring Quarry Bank’s fascinating story to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an inspiring location and the team pride themselves on being dynamic, highly motivated and passionate people.Working alongside the rest of the team, you'll deliver events and activities that bring Quarry Bank to life for our visitors all year round. Working directly with volunteers and staff across departments, you will demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively as part of a large and varied property team.Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.You will be delivering outdoor learning sessions to school groups, so a passion for nature and the outdoors is important. Full training in provided, but experience working with children would be beneficial.You’ll use your passion for people to provide excellent customer service, maintaining a high standard of presentation and creating a welcoming and positive experience for our visitors.You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. In this role, you’ll assist in the delivery of a programme of activities for a wide range of visitors, including schools and families. You will deliver outdoor learning workshops such as Map Reading and River Studies, as well as seasonal events such as Easter, Summer of Play and Christmas. In doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits, encourage them to build a connection to Quarry Bank, and help them understand more about our heritage, conservation and nature.Salary: £15,502.50 pro rata (£13.25 per hour)Duration: PermanentWorking Hours: 1170 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. Working Pattern: You will work approximately 3 days per week on a rota basis. Core working days are Monday, Thursday, and Friday, plus every 4th weekend. Additional weekend shifts will be required during school holidays and peak periods, along with occasional evening work for events.Interview Date: Friday 26th June 2026This role requires regular weekend working and some evening work for events.For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form.
