SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School in Wilmslow

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them thrive both academically and personally.

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
* Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support plans
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
* Support students' emotional and social development as well as academic progress
* Assist in adapting learning materials and classroom activities to meet individual needs
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school, care or youth work setting)
* Calm, empathetic, and understanding approach
* Good communication and team-working skills
* Willingness to learn and respond to students' unique needs
* A background in psychology, education, or youth support is beneficial but not essential
* A strong and supportive SEN department
* Regular training and development opportunities
* Daily pay between £89 - £100, depending on experience
