Vertu Mercedes Benz of Aylesbury – Assistant Service Manager
Due to an internal promotion, we have a great opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join the team with a £40,000 basic salary and OTE of £50,000.
Responsibilities
* Support the Aftersales Manager in the daily running of the department, specifically front‑of‑house operations.
* Oversee work planning, resource management, and team performance – including coaching, developing, and motivating colleagues to achieve their best.
* Take ownership of customer concerns, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and recorded accurately in both Mercedes‑Benz and Vertu systems.
* Drive additional sales via VHC processes and manage the Mercedes‑Benz Breakdown Service.
Qualifications
* Previous managerial experience, either within a similar role or in a Service Manager position.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Proven track record of performance.
