SAFEJAWZ is a fast-growing sports brand based in Aldridge, West Midlands.
We make high-quality mouthguards for athletes who go hard, from grassroots level right through to the top of their game.
We have already built serious momentum. Recently, we were named by FEBE as the 16th fastest-growing privately owned company in the UK and received a King’s Award for Enterprise.
We are growing fast and building a team that can keep pace. People who are switched on, proactive, and ready to make things happen.
This is not a brand standing still. And this is not a role for someone who wants to.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised, commercially minded Retail Marketing Coordinator to help close the gap between sales and marketing, better understand what drives retailer engagement and shopper purchase in-store, and support stronger growth across our retail and wholesale accounts.
This is a new role with real scope to make an impact.
You will help us support retailers better, keep our CRM tight, improve communication, and make sure our trade marketing activity lands where it matters. You will be the link between what marketing is creating, what sales is seeing, and what retailers actually need.
This role is hands‑on. It is for someone who likes structure, spots opportunities, follows things through, and knows that great execution is where growth happens.
What you will do
Retailer support and account communication
* Build stronger relationships with retailers and developing retail accounts
* Keep regular contact with priority accounts so they feel supported, informed and connected to the brand
* Broaden relationships within retail accounts beyond just the buyer, including marketing, e‑commerce, merchandising and store teams where relevant
* Ensure key retailer conversations, follow‑ups and opportunities do not get lost
Trade marketing execution
* Coordinate trade marketing activity in line with direction from the Marketing Manager
* Share campaign updates, launch information, assets and support materials with retailers
* Help bring marketing activity into the trade in a way that is clear, useful and commercially relevant
* Support ideas for in‑store activation, POS and sell‑through opportunities that can help products work harder on shelf
CRM and process management
* Maintain clean, accurate and actionable account records in the CRM
* Track contacts, conversations, next steps and opportunities across active accounts
* Help create structure and consistency in how retailer activity is managed
* Use tools and systems confidently to keep the role efficient and organised
Cross‑functional communication
* Act as a strong day‑to‑day link between marketing and sales
* Relay retailer and account feedback back into the marketing team
* Help identify gaps in materials, communication, account support or trade activation
* Ensure activity is visible, tracked and followed through
Growth support
* Help identify new retail opportunities and potential stockists
* Support light lead generation and prospecting activity as a secondary part of the role
* Spot missed opportunities within existing accounts and help drive them forward
What success looks like
* Retailers feel supported, not forgotten
* CRM is up to date, useful and commercially sharp
* Sales and marketing are more joined up
* Retailer communication is regular, clear and proactive
* Trade campaigns are delivered properly, not just planned
* Account opportunities are followed through with pace and structure
* Under‑supported accounts show stronger engagement and sales growth over time
What we are looking for
* 1‑3 years Experience in a marketing, trade marketing, retail marketing, account support or commercially focused coordination role
* Excellent organisation skills and strong attention to detail
* Confident written and verbal communicator
* Comfortable working across both marketing and sales
* Experience using CRM systems and organisational tools
* Proactive mindset, someone who gets stuck in and keeps things moving
* Commercial awareness and interest in what drives sell‑through, retailer engagement and growth
* Experience working with retailers, wholesale accounts or distributor relationships
* Understanding of POS, in‑store visibility, trade activations or sell‑through drivers.
* Experience in consumer goods, sport, retail or FMCG
* Familiarity with tools such as Asana and CRM platforms
* Experience identifying and qualifying new account opportunities
The kind of person who will thrive here
* Highly organised
* Commercially switched on
* Curious and open to new tech and better ways of working
* Able to build relationships and keep momentum
* Comfortable working in a fast‑moving brand where things do not stand still
