Full-time | Permanent | £13.46/hour (£28,000 per annum)
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
We are working on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours, a respected not-for-profit organisation, to recruit a Catering Coordinator - Meals on Wheels.
This key role involves overseeing the smooth running of the Meals on Wheels service and leading a dedicated volunteer team that supports elderly clients across Harrogate and Ripon.
This is a hands-on, admin-heavy role that requires excellent Excel skills, strong communication, and a genuine passion for working with older people and their families. What you'll be doing...
As a Catering Coordinator, your key duties will include:
1. Managing referrals and enquiries, maintaining accurate records and producing reports using Excel
2. Organising daily and weekly meal orders, updating volunteer rotas, and coordinating delivery rounds
3. Supporting the kitchen team with packing meals and covering delivery routes in emergencies
4. Welcoming volunteers each day, assisting with DBS checks, expenses, and ensuring they feel supported in their roles
