Working 3 shifts per week from 10:30pm - 7:30am.
Are you a natural host? A people person with excellent organisational skills? Do you enjoy creating a seamless, welcoming experience for guests?
Reporting to the Night Manager, you’ll be a key member of the night reception team and the face of the Locke brand. It’ll be your responsibility to make guests feel at home from arrival to departure (if they choose to leave!).
What it looks like....
* Creating memorable experiences for guests
* Being a friendly face and go-to person for guests, contractors, and visitors
* Inspiring and informing guests about local attractions and events
* Welcoming guests during check-in and leaving a positive impression at check-out
* Managing reservations and queries online, via email, phone, and in person with a can-do attitude
* Handling out-of-hours guest queries for other edyn properties
* Building relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits
* Participating actively in team meetings and development sessions
* Patrolling the property to ensure safety and security, and addressing any issues
* Being accountable for health and safety during your shift
* Preparing and reviewing reports for the upcoming day
* Cleaning areas of the property and performing ad hoc tasks, such as linen movement
* Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Processing payments, handling cash, and reconciling accounts at the end of your shift
* Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and occupancy
* Upselling where appropriate
What you'll need...
* Experience in a customer-facing role
* Excellent customer service skills
* Influential communication skills with the ability to manage expectations
* Reliable decision-making abilities
* Confidence to act swiftly and take informed risks
* Strong command of spoken and written English
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Proficiency with IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office
