Actual Salary: Grade D2 (Points 4–11, £18,356.81 – £20,878.91) + SEN Allowance £1,539

We are seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our supportive team.
This is a role with real purpose. You will support children’s medical and personal needs, enabling them to learn, play, and thrive in a safe and inclusive environment.
What You’ll Do
* Provide medical and personal care, including medication, feeding, and toileting.
* Support pupils with healthcare needs so they can access learning and enrichment.
* Monitor wellbeing, update care plans, and report concerns.
* Coordinate First Aid, maintaining resources and accurate records.
* Build positive relationships with families and health professionals.
* Offer reassurance and pastoral support for children who are unwell or upset.
* Ensure safe participation in trips, swimming, and wider school activities.
* Contribute to safeguarding and inclusion policies.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who is:
* Caring, empathetic, and motivated to support children’s wellbeing.
* Experienced in healthcare, education, or caregiving (SEND experience desirable).
* Calm, professional, and a strong team player.
* Organised, proactive, and open to training for medical needs.
* Ideally holds NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (training available).
