With a strong focus on ward based patient centred clinical care, you will be working within and helped by a team of pharmacists and medicine management technicians who are well integrated at ward level. In our aseptic suite you will be involved in the clinical aspects and final release of parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy and radiopharmaceuticals. Candidates will be encouraged and funded to undertake the postgraduate diploma.

This post introduces the STEP Up programme, an in-house structured progression of skills, knowledge and pay advancement from band 6 to band 7 after phase 3 of STEP Up programme linked to the Newly Qualified Pharmacist Pathway and completion of postgraduate modules.

There will be a requirement to participate in extended hours working including weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
