Workshop Manager
Location: Wareham, Dorset
Compensation: £51,000 + Benefits

Role Overview
You will manage operational resources to safely deliver outputs in line with current plans and changes, prioritising resource efficiency and ensuring successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the team in delivering outputs aligned with operational plans.
* Manage and prioritise resource allocation to meet delivery targets.
* Ensure effective supervision of remote and out‑of‑hours teams.
* Monitor and optimise authorised overtime for cost efficiency.
* Make decisions to recover output against plans when needed.
Essential Experience
* Proficient in production ERP systems such as Baan, SAP, or IFS.
* Qualified or actively pursuing certification in lean management methodologies.
* Skilled in using MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and ERP platforms.
* Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing individuals and teams.
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 4 qualification under the National Qualification Framework (e.g., Higher Apprenticeship, HNC, Level 4 NVQ) or equivalent industry experience.
* Completed recognised managerial Health and Safety certification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, British Safety Council).
* Successfully undertaken relevant management development training or courses.
