School Caretaker – Primary School in Hythe
We’re working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Hythe that’s on the lookout for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being the go-to person for all things practical.
Contract: Part time – Starting ASAP
Salary: £100-£120 per day
Your Role Will Include:
* Opening and locking the school each day
* Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance
* Ensuring the site is clean, safe, and well-stocked
* Supporting with deliveries and site security
* Being a friendly face for staff, pupils, and visitors
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
* Has previous caretaking or facilities experience (school setting ideal but not essential)
* Is hands-on, dependable, and takes initiative
* Can work independently and as part of a team
* Is flexible with working hours, especially during term time
