The Microsoft Practice Lead is a senior leadership role and the principal consultant and thought leader for all Microsoft-related solutions across TXP. With a primary focus on Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft Business Applications (including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform), you will define and drive our Microsoft strategy, strengthen our market presence, and accelerate the growth of our Microsoft practice globally.

You will partner closely with Sales, Sector Leads, and Delivery teams to design, position, and deliver innovative Microsoft-based solutions that address complex business and technology challenges—particularly within the Financial Services and Public Sector industries. You will shape compelling value propositions, lead solution assurance, and act as a senior sponsor on key engagements.

In addition, you will create and promote thought leadership (blogs, whitepapers, frameworks), represent TXP at industry events, and deepen our presence and influence within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is central to advancing TXP’s Microsoft capability, expanding our partnership, and driving sustained revenue and gross profit growth.

* Client Focus: Champion a client-centric culture, ensuring every Microsoft engagement delivers meaningful, measurable outcomes aligned to the client’s strategic priorities and maximises value from the Microsoft ecosystem.
* Adaptability: Lead the practice through change, evolving our Microsoft propositions in response to shifting market trends, new Microsoft platform capabilities, partner program changes, and emerging client needs.
* Responsibility: Take full ownership of the Microsoft practice — its strategy, partner relationships, commercial performance, and delivery outcomes — while fostering a culture of accountability and high professional standards.
* Excellence: Set and uphold the highest standards across solution design, architecture, delivery assurance, thought leadership, and team capability, ensuring TXP is recognised as a top-tier Microsoft partner.
* Success: Define success through sustained client trust, high-impact digital outcomes, deepening Microsoft partnerships, increased co-sell opportunities, and long-term value creation for both clients and TXP.


Strategic Leadership and Practice Growth

* Define and lead the vision, strategy, and go to market approach for TXP’s Microsoft practice, ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s technology roadmap and emerging market demand, with a strong focus on Financial Services and the Public Sector.
* Strengthen and expand strategic relationships with Microsoft and global partners to unlock new sales opportunities, joint account development, funding programs, and strategic collaboration.
* Build and develop a high performing Microsoft capability, fostering a culture that is commercially aware, client focused, and innovation driven.
* Ensure solutions and delivery approaches reflect global best practices and insights from international engagements.


Sales Leadership and Pre Sales Excellence

* Work closely with Sales and Sector Leads to drive significant growth in Microsoft related revenue and gross profit, ensuring the practice meets or exceeds annual growth targets.
* Lead complex pre sales engagements, including opportunity qualification, client discovery, solution development, and executive level presentations.
* Shape, cost, and assure compelling Microsoft solutions that are commercially sound, technically robust, and strongly differentiated in the market.
* Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline for Microsoft services, actively contributing to account planning, opportunity creation, and long term client growth.
* Build strong relationships with Microsoft sales teams to secure joint client engagements, marketplace opportunities, and Microsoft funded activity.
* Oversee the creation of high quality proposals, statements of work, and solution designs that clearly articulate business value and outcomes for clients.


AI, Cloud Innovation and Emerging Technologies

* Identify, evaluate, and champion the adoption of new Microsoft technologies with a particular focus on AI, automation, cloud native innovation, analytics, and data driven capabilities.
* Lead the integration of AI into client solutions to enhance speed, quality, insight generation, and measurable business outcomes.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the Microsoft practice.


Client Engagement and Solution Leadership

* Lead the design, assurance, and positioning of Microsoft based solutions (Azure, Dynamics 365, Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft 365) tailored to complex and regulated enterprise environments.
* Act as a principal consultant and trusted advisor, building strong relationships with C level stakeholders and influencing strategic technology decisions.
* Shape and facilitate solution workshops, value assessment sessions, and client innovation engagements.
* Ensure the Microsoft practice maintains a strong external presence and reputation for solution excellence.


Delivery Assurance and Operational Excellence

* Provide executive oversight on Microsoft engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, adherence to Microsoft best practices, and alignment with client expectations.
* Embed consistent delivery standards and methodologies across the practice to ensure predictable, repeatable, and scalable execution.
* Own risk management, compliance, and quality assurance across Microsoft projects.
* Build an internal community of Microsoft experts, supporting knowledge sharing and capability growth across all regions and sectors.
* Maintain and expand TXP’s Microsoft Solutions Partner designations and related competencies.


Thought Leadership, Advocacy and Market Presence

* Produce high quality thought leadership content including blogs, white papers, case studies, and solution frameworks to strengthen TXP’s market reputation.
* Represent TXP at industry events, Microsoft partner forums, and executive briefings, positioning TXP as a strategic Microsoft partner of choice.
* Drive TXP’s participation in Microsoft programs, certifications, and joint engagement initiatives to increase visibility and unlock new market opportunities.


Skill and Experience

* Deep technical expertise across Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and emerging Microsoft technologies including AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
* Proven experience leading and scaling a Microsoft practice or business unit, including capability development, recruitment, proposition evolution, and expansion across regions and sectors.
* Strong record of securing new business, shaping enterprise level deals, supporting sales cycles, and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue and gross profit targets.
* Direct experience developing and executing effective go to market strategies for Microsoft solutions, with measurable impact on pipeline growth and market penetration.
* Demonstrated success in delivering complex, high value Microsoft solutions within Financial Services, the Public Sector, and other regulated industries.
* Strong consulting and solution architecture background, with experience leading multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams across the full Microsoft portfolio.
* Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to develop business cases, pricing models, and value propositions that align to client needs and Microsoft priorities.
* Deep understanding of Microsoft partnership programs, Solution Partner designations, certifications, incentives, and joint business planning processes.
* Proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships at C level with clients and senior executives within Microsoft.
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud transformation, and established project or program management approaches including agile delivery.
* Experience working in global or multi region environments, with the ability to support distributed teams and diverse client landscapes.
