Assistant Manager for Underwriting & Claims
Century Insurance Agency Limited – General Agent of NAGICO Insurances is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Underwriting & Claims to join our team in the British Virgin Islands. This role will oversee the daily administrative and technical supervision of our Client Service team.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the client service team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure excellent customer service.
* Manage workflow to meet performance standards.
* Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop training plans.
* Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, ensuring high-quality results.
* Maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for customer service, underwriting, and claims handling.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct risk assessments and make informed decisions on policies and claims.
* Review and approve insurance policy documents and claims files for compliance.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of policies and claims, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
* Conduct audits and quality control reviews for accuracy and completeness.
* Develop and implement service strategies to meet business objectives and improve profitability.
* Monitor KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
* Collaborate with departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong knowledge of insurance principles, practices, and regulations; pursuing or attained dip CII, ACII, or CPCU qualification.
* At least four (4) years of experience in the insurance field; supervisory experience is a plus.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage staff and projects.
* Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Customer-oriented with adaptability to different characters.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
