We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking organisation to recruit a detail-oriented Finance Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or develop their career within a busy finance function. You’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring processes run efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a varied position offering exposure across multiple areas of finance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Processing supplier payments and ensuring they are completed accurately and on time
Maintaining and updating financial records within internal systems
Assisting with the preparation of reports, reconciliations, and budget information
Handling finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
Supporting credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and issuing reminders
Producing invoices and managing recharges where required
Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial data
Liaising with suppliers and third parties to resolve billing queries
Supporting compliance processes and maintaining accurate audit trails
Assisting with general administrative duties to support the wider finance team What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from individuals who are organised, proactive, and confident working with numbers. You’ll ideally have:

Previous experience in a finance/accounts based role
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills with a professional approach
Confidence in handling queries and resolving issues
